Sunni prisoner Nasimeh Eslamzahi has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for “complicity in baghi (armed rebellion).” Her husband and another defendant in the case were previously executed.

Six prisoners were executed on September 6 and 9 at Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad and Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan. The prisoners had been sentenced to death in separate cases involving murder and drug-related charges.
