Kolbar News reported that thirteen residents of Qorveh, arrested during Iran’s nationwide January protests, have been sentenced to a combined 24+ years in prison. Four were also sentenced to a total of 196 lashes, and one to two years in exile.

Iran’s Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence of Ali-Asghar (Alireza) Peyghambari, 26, arrested amid the nationwide 2026 protests. He was recently transferred to Ghezel Hesar Prison, where executions are carried out.

An Isfahan Revolutionary Court sentenced 10 defendants in the “Isfahan Shohada Square” case to death and prison terms. The 16 defendants received a combined 256 years in prison. The case stems from the January 2026 protests.
